John's listing is perfect for any trip to DC for one or two people. It's right on the Wharf, which has a ton of restaurants and a concert venue. It's also a 10-15 minute walk to a major metro station, which makes it easy to get virtually anywhere in DC (or the surrounding areas). It's also a short walk from the Waahington Monument (approx. 20 minutes) and Jefferson Memorial (approx. 15 minutes) for easy access to the rest of the Mall. Would book again!

John's studio apartment at The Wharf in DC was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean with a very functional small kitchen and bathroom as well as a combo clothes washer/dryer. The queen bed was very comfortable. The area has lots of great restaurants, bars, and things to do. It is convenient to the L'Enfant Plaza and Waterfront Metro stations so we took the Metro there from DCA. The instructions and photos on the Monthier app for using the lockbox to get the key for slef-check-in were excellent. We were in DC to attend a concert at The Anthem, which is actually in the same building and has its main entrance about 75 feet around the corner on the waterfront side. Considering this and the night life in the area, it is amazing how quiet the apartment is at night. We slept very well. We would try to reserve this apartment again if we traveled to this area another time.

The place was perfect for my husband and I’s one night stay in DC! A little far of a jaunt to the major monuments and memorials but got our steps in so it was okay.. the Wharf is a beautiful spot and I wish we had more time to wonder the area. The bed was surprisingly really comfortable for a Murphy bed! John is very responsive. We’d stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay. Being at the wharf was very nice. We were close to restaurants and things to do as well as within walking distance of the national mall etc.
